My project aims to uncover the genetic, molecular, and biochemical mechanisms that shape the function of barley associated microbial communities. Specifically, to identify key inter-microbial mechanisms that govern plant host protection, inter-kingdom cooperation, and host colonisation within the plant microbiota.
